1. Agreement

These terms govern the provision of laundry and linen hire services by Harveys Laundry (24 Fairley Street, Glasgow, G51 2SN) to business customers. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

We provide commercial laundry, linen hire, and linen rental services as agreed in your service agreement. Service specifications, volumes, and schedules are set out in your individual service agreement.

3. Customer Obligations

Customers must: present linen in segregated bags as instructed; ensure our drivers have safe access for collection and delivery; report any concerns within 48 hours of delivery; maintain adequate linen storage.

4. Pricing & Payment

Pricing is as agreed in your service agreement. Invoices are issued weekly or monthly and are due within 30 days. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at 8% above base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

5. Liability

We process linen with professional care. We are not liable for: fair wear and tear; damage resulting from items left in linen (pens, sharp objects); pre-existing damage not reported at collection. Our liability for any single claim is limited to the replacement value of the damaged item.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days' written notice. We may terminate immediately in cases of non-payment, breach of terms, or where continuation would create a health and safety risk.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
